STATUS
The current state of the needs analysis
What is running, what is being prepared, and when each regime’s rules were last checked against the source. This page is the register that used to sit in the footer.
State as of: 2026-08-10
The website is active. The needs analysis is in preparation.
The needs analysis is not in production yet. Measured figures — availability and time to complete — are therefore not published: they read “coming soon” until the service runs and its monitoring supplies them. Everything else on this page is maintained by hand, with the date on which that last happened.
COMPONENTS
What runs, and what is still coming
- Website, knowledge base and contact formOPERATIONAL
The pages, the knowledge base, the comparisons, the blog and the contact form. This part is live; a message through the form reaches the team, and e-mail and telephone are equally open.
- The question flowIN PREPARATION
The guided questions about role, products, sales channels and target countries — 54 modelled starting situations across the three regimes the analysis asks about (packaging, WEEE and batteries). Not in production yet.
- Preview of your obligations profileIN PREPARATION
The per-country profile as it appears on screen right after the analysis: registrations, risks and additional duties. Follows with the question flow.
- Full report by e-mail and exportIN PREPARATION
Delivery of the full report, with sources and the recommended order, once you leave your contact details. Follows with the question flow.
- Quote and contract routeIN PREPARATION
The automatic step from profile to quote and contract, inside the same route. Under construction.
- Hand-over to specialistsOPERATIONAL
Registration, reporting and authorised representation, carried out by our own specialists.
- Volume reporting and marketplace handlingIN PREPARATION
Ongoing volume reports and handling of marketplace checks. Planned for 2026.

RULE DATA
When each regime was last checked
The decision logic rests on rules that move. Per regime we record when they were last put against the source.

- Electronics (WEEE) · NetherlandsStichting OPEN, registration and reporting duties.checked 2026-08-04
- Batteries · NetherlandsStichting OPEN, which has also run batteries since 01.01.2024; built-in and separately sold cells.checked 2026-08-10
- Textiles · NetherlandsUPV Textiel: registration through Rijkswaterstaat, then compliance individually or through a producer organisation. Footwear is not in scope yet.checked 2026-08-10

INCIDENTS
No incident history yet
The needs analysis is not in production yet, so there is nothing to measure. Once the service runs, every established incident appears here with the time, the components affected and what was done about it. The entry stays after it is resolved.
CHANGES
What changed recently
Packaging correction: 12 August 2026 is the PPWR’s application date (conformity and role determination), not the day the Dutch 50,000 kg threshold falls away. That threshold applies for the whole of 2026 and is expected to lapse with the national producer register in 2027/2028. The earlier wording appeared on several pages and has been corrected everywhere.
Status register cleaned up: only what actually runs reads operational. The website is active; the question flow, the profile preview and the report delivery read “in preparation” until the needs analysis is in production.
Report delivery: the full report goes out by e-mail or as an export once you leave your contact details. The preview of your profile stays on screen straight away.
Battery rules re-checked against Stichting OPEN; built-in cells now explicit in the decision logic.
Six comparisons with other EPR service providers went live, with a source and retrieval date per fact.
